I can’t believe it either but this is now my new (to me) car! Its a 2008 Volvo C30 T5 Version 2.0 that only has 43,000 miles! The car was on the dealer lot for less than a day and I had to jump on it. So many more pics below with a story to come later!

I didn’t even have to order these! The previous owner put them on which proved to me this car was driven by a Volvo fanatic (supposedly he traded this and his wife’s XC70 for a CPO XC60 R Design Polestar)

Yeah, yeah, say what you will but the deal is already done. Besides, it got grandma to approve because she can drive it. And it does have a manumatic mode!

Like I said, I am still shocked. It happened so quickly. Big thanks to El_Uly for helping me out yesterday by checking the VIN and getting me the specs I needed to know!

That was the silly thing on these cars... they offered a “builder” where you could make over 5 million combinations! So, every little thing was an option. It’s virtually impossible at this point to get one with every little thing; so I don’t have a sunroof :( But its so small and the windows are so big I’m coping quite well :)

I’ll be doing that later this week! The wheels are begging for it! It’ll look great with the black lower trim!

Oh and visibility is actually quite nice. The D pillar is kinda fat but it has less blind spots than the Civic! Only thing I’m getting used to is the smaller, lower mirrors.

One of the many cars I was interested in when replacing my Fiat, love the way they look and the interior is excellent for a little car. Insurance prevented me from going near one unfortunately.

The C30 is probably one of my favorite modern Volvos. Such a cool little hatch. I’d love to get one myself but I don’t think i could convince the wife on losing half a door

It’s plasti-dip, when we’ll done it can look just fine and it easily peels off when it comes down to reselling it.

FYI any time you buy a car from a dealer, you can totally say you want that sticker gone and they’ll take it to the detail bay to get rid of it for you.

Same goes for dealer tag frames, but that’s simple enough to get rid of with a screwdriver.

I’ve only had it a few days but from what I can tell, it does a pretty good job of hiding it’s roots... I’ve been in similar year Focus and this is much more powerful (T5) and dead quiet on the inside. Its also more confident in corners. I love this thing though
